Tahlia is a published poet and the winner of a national writing contest hosted by Knopf Publishing. She has written lyrics for local musicians, run her own blog, and is currently working on her first full-length manuscript. Her work draws inspiration from the hidden magic in ordinary moments. A lifelong observer of the liminal, her work explores the quiet magic of everyday life—where memory, nature, and intuition converge.Born in the Appalachian Highlands, Tahlia carries a deep connection to the landscape that raised her. She writes under a pseudonym to preserve a sense of sacred privacy between the self and the page. She spends her free time exploring the woods with her dog or watching summer storms roll in with her two cats.She is currently available for freelance writing projects and collaborations, especially in lifestyle, creative, non-fiction, and spiritually-driven content.

Feral Spirit Photography
She received her first camera at the age of five — a gift that sparked a lifelong love affair with the lens. Guided early on by her grandfather, who patiently passed down everything he knew, she developed both a technical foundation and an instinctive eye for storytelling. Over the years, she deepened her craft through academic studies and hands-on experience with professionals across a range of photographic styles.Since 2008, she has worked as a professional photographer, often under various names while running a photography-centered blog. In 2018, she shifted focus to launch Garden of Curiosities, an oddities-based business that allowed her to explore other creative services. Though she stepped back from the camera, the desire to create never truly left her.Now, under the name Feral Spirit Photography, she continues with the medium that first captured her spirit. Her photography is rooted in a desire to reveal the magic she sees in the world — the wild, the strange, the beautiful — and to help others see themselves and their surroundings through a more reverent, soulful lens.

What you Need to know::
~~~Deposits are required to book your session. Deposits are non-refundable.~~~Unfortunately, at this time I do not have a hair or makeup artist that I frequently work with (yet). If a H/MUA is required, the client is responsible for the payment of their artistry at the rate set by the H/MUA.~~~You are welcome to bring a chaperone with you. Your comfort and safety is important to me. However, please do not bring more than one other person with you. This is very distracting and depending on the location I cannot guarantee that there will be enough space for everyone. This is a professional photoshoot, chaperones are expected to conduct themselves accordingly.~~~Please arrive on time. Late fees do apply and are written into your contract.~~~Contracts must be signed and returned before or on the day of shooting.~~~If you are looking for Fantasy photographs or ones requiring more editing, please note there will be an additional fee. (Examples of these types of images can been seen in images 2 and 3 in my photography gallery on the previous page.)
